WA237 - River of Water and Power Resources Service (WPRS) Water-Supply Analysis for Proposed Enlargement of Bumping Reservoir - Completed FY1980
Problem - Citizens for Responsible Water Projects contend that the water-supply analysis made by Water and Power Resources Service (WPRS) for enlargement of Bumping Reservoir is inadequate; specifically, that the assumption of a full reservoir beginning in 1926 produces misleading results and incorrect conclusions. Water Resources Division (WRD) Tacoma has been instructed by the Director to make a simplistic reanalysis of the WPRS' data using the same general assumptions as used by WPRS.
Objectives - We will review the water-supply analysis for the proposed enlargement of Bumping Reservoir, as described in pertinent WPRS reports, by comparing WRD computations of month-end contents with those computed by the WPRS.
Approach -
